T&J Green Energy Company Limited is a joint venture jointly established by Thuan Thanh Environment Joint Stock Company and JFE Engineering Corporation on 28th December 2020. The company is developing a modern Waste to Energy plant in Cuu Yen Village, Ngu Thai Commune, Thuan Thanh District, Bac Ninh Province, Vietnam. The construction of the Waste to Energy plant started in January 2022 and will be completed for operation in January 2024. The plant will incinerate 500 tons of municipal solid waste and industrial solid waste per day, with a power output of 11.6MW and an expected annual power generation of 91,872 MWh.

This project is financially supported by the Japanese government through Financing Programme for the Joint Crediting Mechanism (JCM) Model Projects in FY 2021, and a loan from the International Finance Corporation (IFC) of the World Bank Group and the Finland-IFC Blended Finance for Climate Program will be used to finance of T&J's plant construction and operation.
